Dr. Carolyn Mather
Dr. Carolyn Mather is the Founding CEO of Against All Odds Ministry in Lakeland, Florida. Dr. Mather is a member of the Lakeland Championship Committee Leadership Class of XIII, the Florida NAACP, and alumnus of Southeastern University, Florida Southern College, and the University Central Florida. As an AVRSP Board Member, her priority is to foster a more efficient eligibility process to improve access to services.
David Caldas
David Caldas is the Director of Operations at Hope Services in Land O’ Lakes, Florida. Hope Services offers on the job training, job coaching, vocational certifications, and career camps throughout Central and West Florida. Mr. Caldas holds a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of South Florida and is a Certified Human Resources Professional (SHRM). He speaks English, Spanish, and Portuguese. As an AVRSP Board Member, his top priority is to address the lack of communication between Vocational Rehabilitation and the (Florida) providers as well as improve the visibility of services VR offers.

Khristopher Lucin-Caceres
Khristopher Lucin-Caceres, Program Director at Evolving Lives, is a Clinical Social Worker. Evolving Lives provides mental health services including individual, group, and family therapy. Specific to VR, the organization offers Regular Employment, Supported employment, OJT/Work Based Learning, Work Readiness/ Pre Placement Training, Self-Advocacy, Vocational Evaluations, and Job coaching/Carving. During his time as an AVRSP Board Member, Mr. Lucin-Caceres plans to focus on better access to services for his clients and improved collaboration between VR and service providers at the local level. Additionally, he would like to advocate for improved training of local VR staff.
